My third try at Elementary on Dressage Anywhere resulted in a score of 66% for Elementary 44. This is my first PSG challenge qualifying score so very happy with this result.
It has almost been a year since I started competing on Dressage Anywhere. In August 2015 I entered my first class and scored 67% in Intro B. I set my self the challenge to score over 65% three times in a row at each level before I could move up. January saw Tommy and I step up to Novice level scoring 61.79%. We worked hard and got Novice scores over 70% and In July I entered my first competative Elementary class and scored 63.44% in E42.
I have already qualified for the Dressage Anywhere hosted British Dressage Online Championships at Prelim and Novice levels and with July's score of over 62% in the Elementary class I am halfway there to qualifying at Elementary level too.
Anyone else wishing to qualify for the online championships you have to socre over 62% in August and September at a single level so get entering!!!
Got my June Dressage Anywhere rosettes today 4th out of 41 in P2 and 4th out of 23 in N24. I have been placed top 4 for the last 4 months which has lead me to be 3rd in the Dressage Anywhere league. But things will change in July as I step up to Elemetary. I will still carry on entering Novice tests but I wont be able to enter any more Prelim tests. With this step up I expect to fall down the order again for a while so not sure I will be able to hang on to a top 3 place in the league to the end of the year but that is not the game! The game is to move up the levels.
Tommy and I filmed two versions of the Novice 28 test for July's Dressage Anywhere. One in rising trot (which is what I have been doing so far) and one in sitting trot. I spent a while trying to decide which I would submit until I realised one important thing - I have qualified at Novice level already and levelled up in the PSG Challenge so going back to my original reason for using Dressage Anywhere, for feed back. Once I had relised this the decision made it's self. So I have entered the sitting trot version and I will now wait and see what feedback we get.
Tommy and I managed to score 70% in Novice 24 on Dressage Anywhere and so this makes our 3rd score of over 65% at Novice level which means we have levelled up to level 4 in the PSG Challenge :)
Tommy and I are now qualified at prelim and novice levels for the British Dressage Online Championships, we now have 3 months (equalling 3 tries) to qualify at Elementary level
Tommy and I tried our first Elementary dressage test on Dressage Anywhere at the weekend. We scored 63.67% which I feel was a great result and we got some great comments from the list one dressage judge too.
I got my score back today for the Prelim 2 test I entered for the June Dressage Anywhere Prelim class. We got a score of 73.79% which I am very pleased with. It means we have submitted two qualifying scores needed for the Brittish Dressage Online Championships qualification. This will, excluding the finals in November, be the last Prelim class I enter on Dressage Anywhere because it is time to step up to Elementary.
I still need to score a qualifying score for Novice this month too then I can put all my efforts in trying to qualify at Elementary level before the end of September.
Took Tommy over to Beaver Hall for unaff dressage. It was the first time we have been there and although the journy was a little hilly the Equestrian Centre is well worth the trip. A professional and clam well run venue helped by the nice weather. We had entered a Prelim and Novice class and came 2nd in both - second only to my coach's daughter Tinky Morris. This result gave us a qualifying score for UK Riders championships, but upon reading the small print this is for 2017 so a while to go yet.
Took tommy to Stone Lodge EC at the weekend. We entered the Prelim and Novice and were place 5th in Prelim and6th in Novice.
Stone lodge was a nice quite location so tommy settled well and we scored over 60% in both tests.
